Young River Otter
Young Otter pups are the clowns of the aquatic world and delight in constant play.

Winter Bison
Big Bison are built to forage in Winter using their massive heads to move snow and get to buried grasses.

Jumping Fox
Foxes and Coyotes spring into the air and dive nose first into the snow to catch voles and mice moving under the snow,

River Otter
Otters can be found in all the river drainages and frequent the banks of the Yellowstone in Hayden Meadows.

Pika
These cute animals live in rocky outposts and can be found by listening for their squeaks and chirps. A great place for Pika observing is in the Silver Gate rocks south of Mammoth Hot Springs.

Sunset Bull Elk
Big Bull Elk are handsome animals, bellowing and bugling to attract mates in the Fall.

Pronghorn Antelope
Pronghorns are found in the drier sections of the park around Roosevelt Lodge and the Lamar Valley.

Grey Wolf
A closeup of a wolf is rare in the Park. Most wolves are seen from distance moving quickly in their search for food for the pack.

Resting River Otters
These Otters are resting on a rock in the Yellowstone River.
